I’m not being sarcastic. How is this better? What makes 3G so important? I have a cell phone that I can text and take photos with, and that’s WAY more than I need. Give me a reason to get an iPhone!

Not gonna lie just got back to AK after 1.5 months and seeing 3g when I switched off airplane mode was the highlight of the day, hard to beat 22 hours flying.

@Randy Nice indeed. I listen to CNET’s Buzz Out Loud podcast everyday and most of them (San Francisco and NY) say AT&T service/coverage is absolute garbage. Granted it’s only been several weeks, but I’ve found AT&T’s 3G to be rock solid here in Anchorage. I’m guessing the fact that Anchorage is 3x and 30x smaller than SF and NY, respectively, might have something to do with it.
